The largest division of the 2,100 acre Ueland Tree Farm, KQ is growing rapidly from its central location just west of the city of Bremerton. With the most permitted rock reserves of any quarry on the Kitsap Peninsula, KQ is very well positioned to meet the community’s growing needs for basalt, sand, gravel, soil, and recyclable materials for decades to come. KQ is already active in clean fill, concrete and asphalt recycling and is in the final stages of permitting to allow it to expand into recycling of woody debris to create compost, mulch, and soil. The successful applicant will have a hands-on leadership role in marketing, permitting, construction, production, maintenance, staff recruitment and supervision. Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in business or resource management, and relevant job experience.
